How do I remove the Pressure Reducing Valve?
The water pressure in my house is between 100 and 110 psi. Turning the screw on the PRV doesn't change the pressure, so it must be broke and I need to replace it. Looking at these photos, what is the best way to remove the PRV? It doesn't look like I can take some wrenches and disconnect it from the piping. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

The first photo is the intake side. The second photo is the outlet side.

Did you adjust it with the water running? Just turning the screw with static water pressure will not show change. You have poly piping and will need a compression tool or some transition fittings.

In looking at the pictures again, if you are REALLY lucky and can match the valve, you can first unscrew the union (big nut)on the Input -supply side and then unscrew the valve off the house side. Very tricky with poly piping but possibly worth a try.

Thanks for the tip about adjusting while the water is running. Definitely needed a new PRV. I just cut the poly pipes and installed new pipe with Sharkbite fittings and a new PRV. Now I have a question about my hot water heater tank which I will make a new thread. Thanks again!
