New Jersey & New York Taxes
I work in New York and had New York taxes withheld. I live in New Jersey. Do I have to file in New York and in New Jersey? Will I owe taxes in New Jersey or do I get a credit for taxes paid in New York state?? Thanks

You have to file in BOTH states. You will pay NY, but the NJ credit given for the NY taxes paid will likely completely offset any NJ tax liability.

You should probably get professional tax help!
