You're depressed. Have you talked to a doctor about this? There are medications that can help with depression. Counseling is also a good idea.

I suffer from depression. My family doctor prescribed antidepressants for me, I didn't need to see a psychiatrist.

Your question has been covered but I wanted to address this specific part. You're depressed. Valium is actually not a good idea to be taking right now. It'll artificially boost your dopamine and given that it's a benzo (as opposed to an SSRI or SNRI) that highly increases your chances of becoming addicted quite highly. And I'm not anti-valium. It is just not a drug they give out for depression, and for good cause. In general, go talk to a counselor at the very least who can give you a good recommendation of someone to see. If you readily can, just go to a psychiatrist (or a PCP (MD) who can refer you to one).

Wait--You don't have a psychiatrist in your area? Where do you live? What? Do you have a doctor??

    Wanted to add...

I don't know what the deal is with not having access to doctors (that's terrible, what the heck :/), but if you have to do this alone--and I really hope not--try journaling or getting your feelings out in a creative manner, by writing song lyrics/music or poetry or something like that. I know it is sounds minor, but it can really help with depression if you have no other alternatives. Again, that's baffling. Please do try to find a doc, OK?

Lol, I live in an arabic country, and the city I'm living in is small, so yea there aren't any psychiatrists here.I went once with my mom to a neurologist and he's the one who prescribed valium for me, he told me not to get used to it. That's why I don't prefer to see a doctor.
