    Dog ate veal chop bone
I recently fed my boxer a veal chop bone from work. I didn't realize that it splintered and now am concerned because he sounds sick. It sounds like kennel cough but much deeper and has been waking up all night. It sounds like he is going to throw up but is gagging. This all started today and I fed him the bone two days ago. It's Sunday and our vet is closed! Don't know if I can put it off until Monday. Please help me out if you k ow anything or can recommend something!

You will see many answers that say get him to eat cotton balls to cushion the splinters. Two days may be a bit late for that. You could try garlic bread; bread for cushioning and garlic to stimulate stomach acid production. The kind with parmesan and mozzarella cheeses on it would work even better.
