    I want to know if there is someone in my house but they didn't die in my house
    How do I talk to my grandmother if she is dead?

    You can just talk , many people believe she can hear you. She can not talk back, you are not able to communicate with them.
    Most "spirits" are not ghosts but other types of spirits, that may give feelings of love ones.
