    Power surge blew my 3amp fuse. Replaced but still won't come on. 24volts gets to the board but will not turn unit on. When I close the door switch the thermostat comes on but goes blank in a few seconds.

    Carrier gas furnace
    Electrical storm zapped my furnace fuse. Replaced fuse and led status light reads all normal. I hear the 24v transformers humming but unit will not come on. There is 120v and 24v as well. When I call for cool the thermostats blanks out. Could it be a bad board?

We have a Carrier Weather Maker 8000 Natural Gas Furnace not functioning properly. We have replaced pressure switch, hot surface ignitor, flame sensor and control board. It will cycle 3 to 4 times and then not come back on. Is it possibly a bad coil on gas valve?:rolleyes:

The pilot is lighting, but the main gas jets are not. Could this be the gas valve? We have checked everything else we can think of, everything seems to be working fine (except for the main gas jets). Thanks
