    Snapper rear engine rider emits black smoke
    I started my Snapper Rear engine mower and the engine kept stalling without ever running smooth. There was also black smoke coming from the exhaust. Suggestions?

    Your choke is on... or you have a clogged air filter.

    THe chock is on the throttle... all the way on is chioked... back it off a little frm maximum if its pushed all the way forward now.
