I worked for same employer in 2 states and my state wages exceed my federal
I worked for a company in WI and transferred to Iowa within the same company. When I received my w2 I noticed that they withheld tax in WI and IA for the same wages for months after the transfer. I have asked them to correct it but they say it is correct. Any help?

It was NOT correct, but you CAN fix it when you file the tax return, properly allocating the income between states and paying the appropriate taxes.
