    Can you get a STD from sleeping with all virgins?
    I was in a relationship with a guy that was a virgin without protection because I was on the Depo shot. I do know for a fact that he was a virgin, but is there any chance I could have an STD? I know it may sound like a stupid question but I'm really confused on answers I've been given. He was my first.

    Your question gets into the definition of what a virgin is. There are those who believe that virginity is only lost when the penis enters the vagina. This means that a person can be very experienced while technically remaining a virgin.

    Since a person can have very intimate relations without vaginal penetration, a std/sti is possible depending on the disease/infection and the level of intimacy shared.

    Yeast infections which can occur without sexual contact can be spread from partner to partner. So a 'virgin' with a yeast infection can give it to their partner.

    If you think you are showing signs of an std/sti, go to your doctor for an examination.
