WBC-urine. Pregnancy.
Hi, I'm 26 weeks pregnant and just moved to a different state so I have established a doctor yet. I've been having cramping for a couple weeks now. Mainly just when I have to pee, which has made for some painfully sleepless nights. I took an at home uti test, well two actually. The WBC test came up positive on both and the nitrite test came up negative on both. Should I make a trip to the hospital or wait another week or two and mention it to my OB? Thanks.

Make that trip. It sounds like you might have a UTI and these can cause premature labor and/or delivery. They can also assist you with finding a good local OB doctor.

It's possible, but do you want to risk your baby's life?

Just because I asked if it could be nothing doesn't mean I'm risking anything. Some people like to ease their mind a little. Thank you for automatically assuming though. However, a proper response would've been something more along the lines of "yes, it is possible but going to get checked out is best, otherwise you may be putting your baby's life at risk," same point just less rude. Thank you for responding to my questions though.

That wasn't at all rude.
J was saying that it could be nothing, but it's not worth the risk. In other words, no one online can give you a diagnosis. It could be nothing, but it could be something serious. It's not worth the risk. Do you understand?
She was not saying that you would risk your babies life. Not even close to that.

Then there's me. I tend to write a book for every post. Then again, I don't have a kindle, not even a cell phone. So I can type and type and type, very easily. :)
The thing is, I don't understand how your post was misunderstood. Must be pregnancy hormones. Let's chalk it up to that. ;)

Yes, but I know you well. Fact is, the post on this thread didn't need to be expounded. It was pretty darn clear just the way it was. No need to know you, just a need to read it.
