    Open Records Request
I am wanting to look for information on Record at a court house and have found out it is in either of 2 places. One place is if it is a civil matter the other if it is criminal. How much information is needed when filing a Request for Records or does the form need to filled out completely? I am wondering if you can request to see the records for a specific time like a year, month, day for either of the 2 places.

    Hello g:

Go to the courthouse and ask them... Frankly, I don't believe there are ANY requirements as the records are PUBLIC. You'll be able to examine them and make copies at your leisure. But, you won't be able to REMOVE them from the courthouse.
