Similar to Magdalene Sisters
Just recently watched Magdalene Sisters again and again am reminded of a similar film (possibly made for TV only). It was about a group of unwed mothers, the babies were taken away, one mother committed suicide (three themselves out of window into courtyard). One escaped by being "bought out" for a much older man to marry. Pretty sure it is either Scottish or Irish. Was a good film and would love to see it again but my memories are too vague for Google searches.
