    Laundry sink overflowing
Whenever I do a load of laundry, the water dumps into my utility sink and eventually overflows. I dump bleach down there and plaung it and it eventually goes down after causing quite the mess. Any idea what the problem is and how it can be fixed?

Well for one... why are you dumping bleach down the drain... what did you think it would do?

Its not a drain cleaner... you need to snake out the drain... to clear the clog... because you dumped a lot of bleach in there... most drain cleaning chemicals can't safely be used until the bleach has been all flushed away. Otherwise poisonous gases can be generated.

Hi efrirepro and welcome to The Plumbing Page at ANHD.com.
Your drain's clogged with lint and grease. Smoothy was correct that you need to snake the drain. Take the "P" trap apart and send your snake up in the wall. Put out at least 6 foot of cable and flush with hot water, Good luck, Tom

Tom, our drain goes straight down into the ground. Our p trap is clean so we are thinking that the blockage is below the slab. Any thoughts? -Mark
