I have had ringing in the ears, especially when I tilt my head back as in looking at starts or something on a top shelf. Pain in back of neck, dizziness and eye gets blurry. Yesterday I also found out that my left ear has lost it's ability to hear like it is clogged like I have cotton stuffed in it.
I've put some solution in the ear hoping it is wax build up, but after 3 five minute treatments the ear is still clogged.
Is there any relationship between the two? One seems to be cutting off the blood supply the other wax build up. The ringing is in both ears.
My wife told me I should scrape out the wax build up but I am scared I might do it wrong and push the blockage further down.
How best to deal with this ear clogging?

Anything you attempt to do to dislodge the wax is just as likely to make it worse that it is to improve the situation. The Dr can see the problem with a painless scope. Anything else is guesswork. WG gave you good advice. Take it from one (me) who learned the hard way.

With your other complaints it sounds as though you may have otitis media. An ear infection. A doctor will have to visualize the eardrum with an otoscope for a proper diagnosis. If that is the case, you will need a course of antibiotics.
