    Why would my boyfriend break up with me?
    Soo... a couple months ago my boyfriend broke up with me. IDK why because we always hung out and played games and did things together, we were a happy couple. He just worded it simple just a "I'm sorry, I love you dearly, but I'm breaking up with you." Then he tried to kiss me on cheek! HOW STUPID! I pushed him away and ran off crying. I never bothered to ask him why he broke up with me because I never wanted to say a word to him again. My friends tried to cheer me up by telling me that I'm way too smart or pretty or intelligent or just plain awesome for that jerk. I knew it, but I wanted to know the real reason why. My dad was probably best friends with him, they would always talk and play video games together. They had so much in common, I thought that would be one reason why he would stay with me. BUT I WAS WRONG! W-R-O-N-G! He never even said a peep to my dad after the whole break up! I kept wondering and thinking of ideas of why he would just let me go. But I just stuck with the reason all my friends said. I'm just too freaking awesome for him. So if you have any ideas of why boyfriends break up with girlfriends for no apparent reason, please tell me :(

    People break up because they don't want to be in relationships any longer for a variety of reasons - maybe he's met someone else; maybe his parents don't think the relationship is important; maybe he just wants to be friends.

    I am confused, though - your Dad and your boyfriend are best friends. Your Dad sits by while your mother makes you sleep outside and won't buy any clothes for you, forcing you to wear old clothes that don't fit?

    I don't understand the dynamics here.

    I realize this isn't posted in "teens," but you also refer to buying your own tickets to Disneyland, part of your mother's cruel treament of you. How old are you both?

    Sometimes feelings just change, and few young people stay together forever. Everyone's reasons are different and after all this time you guys haven't talked at all? Maybe that's for the best.
