    I started walking on a treadmill for almost a month... for the past week or so my right shin area has been sore... for the past few days I have been resting and icing the area and taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 3-4 hrs... I have been elevating my leg and the pain is still there... also when I

    Sounds as though you have shin splints. Continue what you are doing. Avoid the treadmill. If the pain continues for 2 more days see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.
