To be honest this is the actual daughter speaking because I thought this was a site for parents and j am desperate for answers. All my friends are more developed and I'm not. It's not like they are using it as an achievement but I just feel left out in the conversation sometimes about it. One girl wears a bra even though she doesn't need one and I'm not saying I'm flat chested but I am not that developed and I feel like I don't have anyone to talk to about it

Breasts and periods aren't all they are cracked up to be.

Talk to your mother. Everyone develops at their own pace. You are still young so its nothing to worry about.
Again talk to your mother, maybe late bloomers run in your family.

I was behind my friends in breast development, but got my period just before turning 12, before they did, and of course I freaked out.
That was 55 years ago!
Nothing has changed.
I wish you could realize that it really doesn't matter for a few more years of being within the normal range. But I remember what it's like to want to be like your friends...
(ScottGem, not all mothers are good at this subject... mine was awful.)

Its just my friend wears a bra bigger than her chest and it makes me jealous because I actually somewhat have breasts but I don't go around stuffing my bra or anything. What should I do about this. Should I stuff my bra or tell her off

You don't stuff your bra OR tell her off. Keep to your own business.

Absolutely NOTHING If she is your friend then why would you want to "tell her off". Maybe her mother brought her a large bra anticipating she would grow into it. And if you think its wrong to stuff, then why would you consider doing it?
But, bottom line, what your friend does in this area is none of your business. If you want to end the friendship then tell her off.

Don't stress, it's going to be fine. Everyone develops at their own pace - just because 12 is the average age, doesn't mean it will happen at 12. All of us are different. All of these things WILL come, and she's not abnormal in any way! Don't worry, it's OK, and you'll see some changes soon xx

Same for me , I'm not flat , but I should be much more developed for a 16yrs old , I talked about it with my close friends , but I don't think they understand , they probably think I'm just over-reacting and it's only a whim , but no -.-

Lol , you can't tell her what to do , you can do what you want , as long as it doesn't bother anyone,
Just let her make her own choices and if you want to stuff your bra , I'm pretty sure that you're OK the way you are , but if you really want to , nobody is going to forbid you

Oh, how I remember those "My bra is bigger than yours" days! And I remember poor Mary (at least, all the girls thought of her as "poor Mary"). She didn't get her period until she was 14, and is still flat chested at 70, but somehow she managed to find a handsome guy who adores her, have several beautiful children, and is still teaching ESL classes at a university (and traveling all over the world to visit former students). The girls who stuffed their bras and gloated have never been heard from again.

I didn't get my period until I was 14, on Christmas eve to be exact. I never wanted to get it, and I had tons of problems for years, medical issues I didn't know about that cause me to literally end up in the hospital a few times because of the pain during my period. I hated it.
Up until I was 28 I was a small b cup. Now I'm a 32F, and boy do I wish I could have that b cup back. In fact, I'm going to see my doctor about a breast reduction. Because of the back issues and other issues I'm having, I can get a reduction for free, since it's not for cosmetic reasons.
In other words, be happy with who you are, not your breasts, not how fast you're developing. Things change every day. I was an adult, a mom, and my breasts went from a b to an f, without weight gain, only from having children.

I am 15 years old and going on 16. Out of my friends I am the least developed and only have a few pubes. This is annoying as I always lie and say I do have a normal amount. I recently shaved them as I heard that pubes grow back quicker and thicker. Is this true? Or can someone help me with this...
