I know sweat soldering a ball valve is best, but will a "push-ft" compression "Viperlok" brand ball valve work?---My pipes are old copper, and have a few minor scratches and pits---I also noticed a seam running down one side of pipe. This water line runs out into garden, but valve is in the house....
Shower valve leaks

My shower still leaks after changing both stems and seats? It is just a shower head and 2 handle unit. I believe it's a Kohler unit. It leaks from the cold water side. What do I need to do to stop it from leaking? Do I need to replace something in the wall?
Closed valve still leaks

My single handle kitchen faucet leaks worse and worse via the hot side.
