Depression, fears, growing up, loneliness...
I'm really so depressed right now. I actually have been depressed for 4 months or something. I live in a small village, there's nowhere to go, I have no friends to hang out with outside of this village. So I'm like home all the time.
This is my last year in school and I'm really scared of the future. I don't even know what I'm going to do with my life. No one understands me or cares about me. Everyday is the same and I'm dying inside. I don't know what to do to overcome this. I'm dying.
Please help

When you make statements like these:
"No one understands me or cares about me...
Everyday is the same and I'm dying inside..."
You are not helping yourself. On the road to feeling better let's start with baby steps. First off when you go to bed tonight, try making a few positive statements. "I am going to make tomorrow fun" or "I am going to meet someone new tomorrow." Once you start training yourself to be more positive you will start to feel better.
Second thing - embrace your future. Be positive that you are in your last year of school. That is a very nice accomplishment and you should be proud of that. So give yourself 8 pats on the back. Realize that your future is going to change and change is okay. Fearing the future or fearing change is a very negative thing. Looking forward to change and to your new future is a much more positive thing.
Last - control how you feel. If you get up tomorrow and say "Today I am going to have fun" you will probably have fun. Don't allow your mind to constantly make negative statements. Trust me it does work.

Thank you so much. That was very helpful.

Make a plan for your future. How are your grades and is there a school or college near you to further your education? Can you get a scholarship, or an apprentice program? How about a job, either where you are or somewhere close?
Its normal to fear an unknown future, and it helps to have a plan you can focus on doing. No hurry, you have this last year so look around at all your options. See this as an opportunity and prepare yourself.

I'm scared...
So I'm participating in a psychometric course (for 6 months) and I'm freakin out.
1. I have to study a lot but I really dislike studying.
2. I don't know wnyone there so I'm afraid that I'll be alone there all the time.
What can I do to love studying?
And what can I do to make friends?
Thanks...

1 - get very, very involved in the course.
2 - be friendly but not pushy and smile a lot.

You will make friends, chat to people, be friendly but not intimidating :) I started uni last year and felt the same way you do, and now I have some amazing friends that I can't imagine life without having them around. Also I find studying easier with people, as you all motivate each-other, also you should try making studying fun, make posters or study to music, but make sure you have breaks and don't push yourself too hard! :)
