In need of a job... asap
I have been looking for work CDL Driving for a long time unsuccessfully... I have a misdemeanor on my record , and about 2yrs out of the truck... All the major carriers will not touch me and say that they can't hire me until its been 5y past the date of this thing... I don't care where I go really and I will stay there for a long time, just need to do it quickly... the economy in my area sucks, no jobs hiring, and the ones that are are very selective to who they hire... I have a really good driving record, and I have only been in one accident 5y ago... I need this so I can do my responsibility to pay child support and get back to a life my kids and I can be proud of...

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but what exactly is your question? You posted a rant, but not a question.

You may have to give up the idea of a driving job and look for something else. Why driving job?

Truck drivers make about 65,000 - 85,000 a year after taxes... and I'm not going to give it up, just because I'm not willing to try... besides its something I am good at and I enjoy doing,

This is the issue, 60,000, you need to start looking at the local haul or regional carriers, those that you know about, they underpay, cheat mileage, and offer few benefits,

After being out of driving, and a legal issues ( no idea what it was) you may have to get back to a job.

Next child support, you have court set support to current earnings and pay it, I will hope you have some job now
