    Birth control blood clot?
Just started taking TriNessa less than a week ago. Also, a few days ago I took 10 Lutera tablets as an emergency contraceptive. Today I had a little lightheadedness and have some tenderness in the insides of both knees and occasionally my calves. It isn't painful, red, or swollen though, but it feels somewhat warm. Part of me is paranoid I'm getting a blood clot, but I am only 18, healthy weight, and very active. Should I be concerned? Or is this just my hormones readjusting to the new pill and to the emergency contraceptive?

If you are having discomfort in your lower extremeties and are worried about a blood clot, then please go to your doctor and discuss your concerns. There is no criteria such as age, physical condition, etc. for blood clots to form. Blood clots in the ankles is a very valid concern.

Did you take 5 white pills, then 5 more white pills 12 hour latter, as emergancy use?

But this higher dosage has some side effects, normally mild, but there are possible other side effects
