    sick staffy
My staffy pup has the same, he is 4.5 months, has had diarrohea and vomiting for 2 days, he seemed to pick up a lot yesterday so I cancelled his appointment and he was doing really well drinking his fluids again, until the early hours of this morning he started foaming at the mouth and empty reaching, he now has yellow all around his mouth and has no life left in him I rushed him to the vets this morning and she has assured me its not parvo as he is up to date with all his jabs, she reckons he may have eaten something he shouldn't have and maybe has some sort of poisoning or blockage, although her examination of his stomach found nothing.. He was giving an antibiotis jab and rehyration jab and I'm now trying to get him to drink the sachets for me to bring up his salts n sugars he's really worrying me, if he's no better by the morning then I have to bring him in for an x-ray and to be put on a drip, I really hope he pulls through, I can't bare to see him like this :(

    "Has the same"?

I don't automatically question a Veterinarian but the parvo shot is not 100% effective.

    Do you have a question?

I have to ask as well. The same what? You posted:

The same as someone else that posted on this site? We don't automatically know which post you're referring to when you post. You have to give details.

Did the vet test for parvo, because even with up to date shots, parvo can happen. It's usually a milder form of parvo, but any dog can get parvo, even one that's had all its shots.

Did the vet do x-rays, an ultrasound, anything to determine what's causing this? It doesn't sound like it.
