Can you be sued for credit card debt
Can you be sued by attorneys for debt buyers, when the card expired and the attorney is in court with the state bar for unethical discovery practices (I have to guess that it meant that no one was served papers and he won) but his case is in question

Of course you can be sued. The legal owner of a debt is entitled to sue to collect that debt as long as the Statute of Limitations has not passed. Doesn't matter if the card expired. Doesn't even matter if the attorney is disbarred as you don't need an attorney in small claims court.

The attorney's record may help you fight the case, but won't prevent a suit being filed.

How do you think the accusations (and it appears that that's what they are) matter in your case? Are you saying you should have been served and weren't? Something else?
