    Am I pregnant?
Me and my partner had unprotected sex on march 28. I was supposed to start my period on march 31. I have had multiple pregnancy symptoms and usually have a regular period. It is now April 9 and I noticed light brown discharge. But then it later got heavier and red. Could this be implantation bleeding or a late period due to stress?

And what would these "symptoms" be... my intent being to demonstrate there are no pergnancy "symptoms" that early that can't usually be attributed to a number of other things.

In reality... its too early to know for sure. And still a bit early to even test. You really should be at least 2 weeks late for your period to have a chance at a remotely accurate test...

That's because before 2 weeks late the odds of a false negative are very high.

Most likely a late period, and the implantation would have normally came before So it is just a waiting game now, you have to be about 14 days late before you test

A few days before your period should place you outside your fertility window but it can happen. If you're now experiencing what seems like a normal period, then that's probably what it is. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Have you gained or lost any weight? Have you been missing sleep? So many things can cause your period to fluctuate or change that it's hard to say whether you're pregnant.

But, like smoothy said, you need to take a test at the right time to be sure. First Response should work right after your missed period. However, getting a negative now won't mean much - the hormones that the test checks for might not have accumulated in your body to high enough levels yet for detection. You could always take one test now and then wait a couple of weeks. If you take those tests, get negatives but miss your next period then get a blood test done.
