Good day... this is nena. I need to know what is the meaty-like discharge from vagina? I have been done D & C 3 months ago. And the bleeding and spotting doesn't stop. Until thick blood comes out... then yesterday I was having a rare discharge, it was like thick lining the one my ob got during the procedure (d&c). I am currently taking green tea more than 2 weeks now and 5 cups a day also I am taking mushroom ( agaricus blazei murill extract). My ob diagnose me having endometrial cancer. Please I need your help. Thank you and God bless!

First off- when were you diagnosed with the cancer? Have you started any anticancer therapy (chemo/radiation/surgery apart from the D&C)? Do you happen to know what specific type of cancer?

Without knowing what type of cancer you have exactly it's pretty hard to say what's going on. But from what you're saying and from the little I know about it, it sounds like you have a choriocarcinoma as a result from a 'mole' that resulted from pregnancy- is this right? Or do you have another type of endometrial cancer?

The discharge could be a result of the cancer some cancers produce estrogens which cause bloody discharge. Choriocarcinomas also cause discharge which is often a presenting symptom. Usually D&C gets rid of the 'mole' which causes the choriocarcinoma but if it's not removed completely or is too advanced it can continue growing- which could be causing your present symptoms.

I would highly suggest that you speak to your doctor and express any concerns you have to them; since they know your medical history. It's their job to make you feel comfortable and explain anything you don't understand. If you have any new or concerning symptoms again I would speak to them and let them assess the severity because choriocarcinoma (if this is what you have) can be a dangerous cancer if not treated appropriately.
