Hey, my period came down on Feb 4th-8th and two weeks later I was spotting blood that was a darkish brown. My next period was suppose to come March 8th but it didn't. I patiently wanted no period. On March 31st I took a hpt and it was negative, the next morning I took another and it was also negative. So Monday April 2nd I went to the doc, tested and it was also negative. Could I still be pregnant? What is going on? Is it too early to tell? HELP!!

Wait until May 8th and see if you get a period and if not come back. But I'm so curious.

Whether it's too early to test or not would depend on when you think you may have conceived. Wait a few weeks and test again.

Irregular periods are not unusual. And many conditions like endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, even weight gain or loss, stress, interuptions in your normal sleep patterns, heavy sports involvement, etc. can impact your cycle.

Certainly if you conceived in February you'd have a positive result by April, though. Generally people conceive in the middle of their cycle, and can get a positive result if they are pregnant by two weeks after they miss a period, which would be about a month after conception.

But I don't have an irregular period, it comes every 28-35 days. I don't have any severe symptoms, just moderate lower abdominal pains (bloated) and my gums were bleeding for the past two days.

Does not sound pregnant, since a doctors "blood test" I will assume doctor did blood test not just another urine test.

If doctor just did urine test, yes you could be pregnant,

But there are 100's of reasons for a missed period, sometimes it happens and you will never know why.

Is there a lot of stress or worry right now?

If doctor just did urine test, yes you could be pregnant,

Nope no stress, and she didn't do a blood test, only urine. I asked her about a blood test but she just suggested that I wait a little longer just in case my period come.
