    Bidding on Cleaning Car Dealership
Hi Everyone, I am very new to asking questions online.

My Daughter and I recently started a cleaning business. We have cleaned residential homes, condos, have a contract with Navy Housing cleaning houses in several areas and community center. We were recently contacted by a car dealership asking for a cleaning bid. We are not sure how to bid this job. Very large place. 2 Show rooms, one about 4000 sq feet the other about 500 sq ft, 8 offices various sizes, none really large. 4 bathrooms, 2 very long hallways, Service Desk, Parts Desk, Parts back room, Small parts store, Upstairs loft with 2 sofas, computer desk, and a couple chairs. Waiting lounge with children's play area. A parts storage area with linoleum floors. The rest of floors are carpet or smooth stone tile.

Every Day: trash collection and disposal, cleaning of bathrooms, Replenishing supplies.
Every other day: Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection and disposal, cleaning of bathrooms, replenishing supplies. polishing surfaces such as desks, tables and countertops,

Dealership provides the paper towels, soap, t-paper.

Will need to strip and wax parts storage area as never has been done and in really bad shape.

Please help, the company wants a bid today.

Give an hourly rate for stripping wax one time only.
You should be able to envision your hourly rate times the amount of time you see this taking each time for daily and then every other day.
Dealerships tend to say pretty clean except in hands-on work areas. Just imagine yourselves mopping and vacuuming in each area, multiply, add a little for extra cleanliness dealers like, and add for your supplies and tools.
On the other hand, every other day is more often than many dealers, so it will be easier.
Make sure that every other day really means that - all 7 days, including holidays, etc. I would specify 3 fixed days a week instead of 'every other day' so that you don't have conflicts with all your other fixed day jobs.
And no windows inside or out.
Quoting by the square foot doesn't always work because of amount of furnishings in the way.
    Don't undercut yourself!
    Easy!
