    Vinyl Covered Drywall
We bought a mobile home where the walls were painted. The problem is they painted over the vinyl covered sheetrock and didn't prep the walls prior to painting them. I want to fix the walls because the paint is peeling off and would prefer not to have to yank out the walls and replace with sheetrock. Can someone tell me what to do. The paint on the walls can not be removed with paint thinner or alcohol based remover. So I have no idea what type of paint the used. You can scratch the wall and the paint will come up on whatever object you used. PLEASE HELP ME!

Light sand, Kilz primer and repaint. That's the best you can do considering.
