Continue to be who you are. That girlie stuff is nonsense in the great scheme of things.
What if you did try to be girlie? You'd be miserable AND attract guys who won't appreciate the real you underneath. Better to wait for the right guy. There are tons of tomboys out there who attract nice guys.
How do you describe your tomboy-ness? What you wear, your hair, you like sports or working on cars or camping? No makeup, no jewelry? Nothing wrong with that.
Do you like to cook? You could make some totally homemade cookies and bring them to school and make sure mostly guys get them.
But that's only if it's important to you to come up with some ways to let them know that you wouldn't mind a boyfriend.

First thing is to ask your parents whether you can have a boyfriend. Personally I think 13 is too young. If I were them I would say not yet.

And why do you want one? I suspect you are being influenced by the media and peer pressure to grow up too fast.

    How old are your brothers?

No, everyone in your class at 13 year old does not have girlfriends or boyfriends, heck many 13 year old boys are not interested in girls yet. Most lie so that they will not be out of place.

Most of us are pretty old and didn't have peer pressure to have boyfriends and girlfriends at 13.
I think that a 13 year old boy or girlfriend these days (as it was 53 years ago for me) can mean someone you like a lot and hang out with in groups. It's sort of a badge, an appellation. Of course it can also get much too serious, and that's why parents need to monitor it.
Anyway, if you want guys to know you like them you have to show it in tiny ways. The easiest way is a nice HI with just an extra touch of enthusiasm that you are glad to see him. If you are passing in the hall, keep walking, but turn quickly to see if he turns, and smile if he does. But not all gushy, and nothing artificial or overdoing it. All you can do is try. You will have failures because we ALL do unless we are that one almost perfect being, which 99% of us aren't.
So let us know tomorrow how it went.
Oh - and there's always cookies. Hand them out one by one in the hall as you walk by in a hurry if you are too shy to do it in a group.

Just make friends, and enjoy them. The rest will fall into place as you grow. Be yourself, not like everyone else. You won't stand out that way, and doing what others do just to be like them is fake.

Keep it real, and don't fake it, or force it.

I don't think you have to girly to get boyfriend. I was also tom boy in school but I never face any issue. Just be yourself, enjoy and be honest.

When I was in grade school, I had an incredible crush on a "tomboy"... I liked her more than the girly girls. We were actually friends but I never told her I liked her that way because I was too young to date anyway... friends was enough for me at the time. I know there are other boys who feel the same way so I think you are worrying too much.

I'm a tomboy in the sense that I don't like to wear make-up and I love physically enduring avitivities--I guess today's society would label me as a tomboy of some sort. Though, as I'm getting older I want to feel pretty and I want to be taken as seriously as other girls. Any suggestion on how I can...
