Last night my friends and I decided we were going to try and robo-trip and drank a large amount of Robitussin. I drank about 155 ML and as the night went on I began to become extremely itchy, my top lip swelled up, and I began to have swelling on my penis and scrotum. I took 2 Benadryls last night and 3 more when I woke up this morning. Can you help me and tell me what is going on?

Generally I would look up the 2 main ingredients (and maybe menthol too) to look for unusual side effects, but I think you should. Time to take responsibility for your actions and grow up.

What's going on is you overdosed and are also apparently having an allergic reaction to the cold medication as well. It can kill you, so time to stop guessing and get professional help. You are also overdosing on benedryl which isn't going to help matters. You need to go to the emergency room and get detoxed from all this crap. Tell them the absolute truth about everything you have ingested so they don't waste time trying to figure out the truth from you. They'll probably ask a million times if you tried to commit suicide because this was a pretty suicidal thing to do. But, you don't want to have permanent damage to your brain or organs, so it's worth just facing the music and letting them lecture about how dumb it was.

You and your friends are playing a dangerous game. Sounds like you need to find something to do that doesn't risk your life and health.
