Giving you some background on my situation. I'm a junior in high school and 2nd semester of my sophomore year, my best friend started "talking" to this guy who was a junior at the time. He was a complete and total a**hole who flirted with a ton of girls (including me WHILE he was "talking" to my friend.) anyway, they talked from February until the beginning of summer until my friend ended things with him because she found another guy and they ended on a very sour note. SO. In August of the same year, (WITH my friends ok) he and I started to "talk" By then, he was a senior and I was a junior. He asked me out in September and we dated for a whole month until he and I broke up because I was tired of him flirting, being a douche, etc. Then there was this whole period where we were kind of weren't on speaking terms but the feelings were definitely still there. We even tried to make each other jealous by throwing our new flames in each others faces (crazy, I know). That December, he kept asking me out again, claiming he would really change and that he loved me etc. and he seemed legit. So, I gave us another shot, under the condition that I break things off the minute I feel like he's going back to his old ways. It's March now and we've been dating ever since. Everything's been going REALLY well this time around. Absolutely, NO cheating, no flirting, he's really turned himself around.
BUT, remember how I told you that things between he & my best friend ended sourly after she found another guy? Well, recently she and that guy broke up and now it seems that she and my boyfriend have started to become cordial toward each other, practically flirting, in my eyes, at least. I don't want either of them to think that I don't trust them, but should I be worried that maybe, JUST maybe their catching feelings for each other again? They haven't done anything I can call them out on but I just feel kind of uncomfortable about the whole thing. He and I are really in love and I don't want something like this to make us break up. Opinion?? I really feel kind of stuck in this situation.

He's a cheater and they have history but you either trust him or you don't. Just keep your eyes open.

Hello c00l,

I believe a person you care about should have your unconditional trust unless they have violated it. In this case he has, but I think that your best course of action is to sit down with him and really talk to him about your insecurities about his and her interactions. Hope all goes well goodluck.
