Air in pipes after flushing Toilet
After flushing the toilet, a loud groaning noise occurs (usually about 3 groans in succession) whilst the cistern is refilling. Have tried running all the taps in & around that side of the house whilst flushing but no change. This only started about 1 week ago. Any ideas? Gordon

Loose washer in a valve some where. Probably in the stop valve beneath the toilet tank but could in the toilet fill valve.
