    There is no guarantee one will ever be issued if the application is made... and even if it ever is.. it can take years... and during those years you better not be in the USA...

    That's if you are legally married (man & wman)... I don't believe you can even get a VISA based on a same sex marriage in another country.

    It could take up to 6-8 months for spouse visa. You are not eligible if this is civil partnership or same sex marriage.
