92 honda civic no CONTINUITY TO GROUND AT ignition module
In checking the ignition module (on my 92 Honda Civic LX with 1.5) there is NO continuity to ground on the white or blue wires that hook to the module. Repair manual says to disconnect wires from module and turn ignition switch on. There should be continuity to ground on these two wires. Then it says replace module if test fails.. No continuity on the wire harness has nothing to do with the module! I am at a loss as to what to check next.. Replaced main relay, coil, replaced corroded ground wire ends at thermostat housing and all fuses are good. Ignition switch? Any thoughts?

If the CEL comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM). Bench testing ICMs is a waste of time. Instead, I recommend replacing them every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

Replaced ICM. Still no spark... CEL stays on...
The problem is in the wires coming to the ICM. The blue and white wires are suppose to have continuity to body ground when disconnected and ignition key on. They do not. I have replaced everything except the ignition switch and the ECU. I traced the blue wire to the firewall and the plug there to the ICM has continuity, so the wire is good and still no continuity to ground there. I do not know where the white wire goes. Nor do I know where to go from here...

That's why I said to replace the ICM, if the CEL comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out when the ignition switch is turned to ON. Since your CEL stays on, the ECM has likely failed. Perform the K-Test on the ECM, which you can obtain through the site's search function. Odds are almost 100% the ECM is toast. Install a new ECM and your Civic will fire right up.
