Hello. I'm trying to rebuild my Briggs & Stratton carb and all I can find is older diagrams of it. Does anybody have a digram of a Nikki carb #699161 G02510. It's on a 12 HP Model # 21A907-0124 Type EI Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the numbers, and here is the link to the IPL(Illustrated Parts List):

And I will see if I can attach here(if it is small enough.)
Peace,
Clarke

I was cleaning mine (same Nikki) and a small part fell into my hand and I can't tell where it goes. Looks like 127A. I think it fits down into the main lift jet but not sure which way is up. It has small o-ring and each end is tapered to the inside hole. Can anyone help?

Hi,
127A is a welch plug that fits in the side of the carband cover the low speed circuits. Got a digital camera to take a picture and post?
Peace,

I got it back together for my dad. Runs like new! But, Still leaks down into crankcase so I put a inline shutoff valve.

Hi,
That is what many a Deere STX38 owner did because of the same problem. It is sometimes a problem with gravity-fed fuel systems. Usually it was the tip of the inlet needle deformed, or in older models, wear to the inlet seat itself making it no longer conical.

Noted.
This one does not have a seat. Or it got lost. Couldn't find one on the parts blowup. ODD, seems it would be a required part to seal properly.
Every carb I ever worked on had a rubber donut seat but, it's not shown on diagrams in this post. I thought about making my own seat out of epoxy.

Hi,
The seat, in this case, is the top of the brass sleeve the inlet needle goes in with a conical area at the top and an orifice smaller than the sleeve itself. Older B&S had replaceable ones, but the newer Walbros and Nikkis do not offer it as a part. Most mechanics could not successfully replace one anyway.
Peace,
Clarke
