    Spreading high-risk HPV
How is it possible for the high-risk type of HPV to be spread to a sexual partner if there is no intercourse? I understand that the type that causes genital warts can be spread by skin to skin contact, but the high risk type doesn't cause warts - it is located at the cervix. We are two women, if our external genitals touch then are we at risk of spreading the high risk type? It is spread through the vaginal fluid or would something of mine actually have to touch her infected cervix to be spread?

There are only three ways HPV can be spread and they includes vaginal, anal, and oral contact.
