    Why is child support doing this to me ?
    I have a question about this. I'm from Iowa and I was told that disability is NOT touchable by the child support unit since I'm disabled. Plus my children are on my SSI. I'm not able to ever make an income of my own. Yet they raised my child support amount and are making me pay the state back for using their insurance. I've never heard of any such thing before. Could you please help me? I've written them and asked for a hardship but they have denied me over and over again and I'm at my whits ends here. I continue to speak to my Senators about this as I feel strongly discrimnated against. Since my ex is also getting my SSI for a child which isn't his which is a Federal offense. I have a judges order where she states he's NOT the father but he will NOt release himself from the cert. Can you please help me?

    Have you been back to have it stopped if your no longer able and making money like you used to?
