    Go use the "Where's My refund?" app on Internal Revenue Service.

    The status of your federal tax refund can be checked online through the IRS’s website. If you e-filed your taxes, you can check the status of your refund 72 hours after you submit the return. If your tax return was mailed in, the status of the refund may not be available for up to four weeks after it is mailed. Checking the status is free and quicker than calling the IRS.
