And if its not a pinch nerve what can be other reasons.

It is called sciatica and I guess it is sciatica, a pinched nerve. Doctor will give you some anti inflammatory pills and some pain killers. But that's not the solution. If you are a working person and your work involved long hours of sitting then that must be reason for the pain. Try to take a small walk after each hour. Sleep on floor instead bed and don't use soft bedding for sleeping. Do yoga, there are many postures to help. Keep a pillow under your legs that might help. Morning or evening walk for 30 minutes will improve a lot. Walk should be in normal speed.

Your period won't affect the MRI. It could be any number of reasons, not just sciatica, and the nausea might be related to the pinched nerve branching out to your intestines, or it might be any number of things, including an ovarian cyst or any kind of cyst that is hitting a nerve or nerves, or even low grade appendicitis, and so on. Try not to worry - you are getting that MRI today!

Yes I did the mri and here's the conclusion ,posterior annular tear of l5/s1 intersomatic disc assosiated to a small degenerative l5/s1 vertebral endplates modification.there is no significant central canal or foramina narrowing.what does this mean ?

Ask your doctor, he/she is the one that will explain it to you. There are no doctors on this site.

    Good luck.
