    Tuberculosis and menses
I suffered from intestinal tuberculosis from last 10 months and took AKT4,AKT3,AKT2 for 3 months each.
During the treatment I had irregular periods which are still irregular after the treatment. Also I was anemic during the treatment.
Please advise whether it is for t esame reason or anything else.

I am assuming that you were regular before hand?

Your anaemia might have something to do with it, you're making and getting rid of something that has a high iron content. I am assuming though your taking iron supplements or eating foods high in iron.

Have you talked to your doctor about this?

    Hi ,

I am thankful for your reply .

As of now I have recovered from anemia . Now my hb count is 10.00.

My TB specialist said that it is normal to skip periods during the treatment .

But now that I have completed the treatment 2 months ago I am still missing my

Periods . Wat should I do now?

    Thanks

Is there a possibility of pregnancy?

Have you discussed this with your doctor?

Periods aren't light switches. It will take time. If this continues to worry you, then do what Alty says and talk to your doctor.
