Two month old son with lump in anterior thigh.
My two month old son was taken to hospital last month for extreme pain in his hips and legs , legs were very swollen, we couldn't lift his legs to change him or move his legs to put clothes on him he screamed in pain every time and still does.
When he was at the hospital they gave him heaps of test, blood tests which one came back very high, ESR was 50, they then gave him a ultrasound and it came back with a lump in right anterior thigh 16x8x2mm, then had to do a bone scan and it indicated osteomyelitis. I'm unsure what it is, his pain started at week after having his first lot of needles he is now three months and still in some pain.
I need answers please because the doctors weren't actually telling me what was wrong till I got the review back from the hospital. He was in hospital for six days in a lot of pain. And they say there nothing wrong with him because a student was dealing with my two month old son, but asked that we go to a bigger hospital. I wasn't giving any referrals for other doctors at the time and I'm very confused. What’s going on with my son? I'm not getting the right answers here, please help me.

Why don't you call your pediatrician and ask for a referral. We don't have any doctors on this site, but we do have a nurse. In the meantime, if your child is still in pain, call your pediatrician, or go to a larger hospital as you were recommended.

If he's been diagnosed, but not treated, and the doctors aren't telling you exactly what's going on, I'd be packing up my child and taking him to another hospital immediately.
There's really absolutely no way that anyone on the internet can tell you what's going on. We don't have access to his records, or any tests that would be needed to determine what's going on. Guesses won't help you.
You really need to see another doctor about this, and keep going to different doctors until you get an answer, and the help your child needs.

Osteomyelitis/Bone Infection – Orthopedic Surgeons - San Diego and Mexico
Osteomyelitis is an inflammation of the bone or bone marrow, usually caused by a bacterial infection.
Until recently, osteomyelitis and its treatment have been poorly understood by both the medical community and, in turn, the general public
From Fr.Chucks link.
Osteomyelitis often requires prolonged antibiotic therapy, with a course lasting a matter of weeks or months. A PICC line or central venous catheter is often placed for this purpose. Osteomyelitis also may require surgical debridement. Severe cases may lead to the loss of a limb. Initial first-line antibiotic choice is determined by the patient's history and regional differences in common infective organisms. A treatment lasting 42 days is practiced in a number of facilities.[12] Local and sustained availability of drugs have proven to be more effective in achieving prophylactic and therapeutic outcomes
