Is it OK to build a 200 metric ton Swimming Pool on a roof?
I am doing a project in Portugal.

We want to build a block of 8 apartments (4 up / 4 down). We're hoping to build a swimming pool on the roof (solarium).

I found some calculations that say a swimming pool would weight 1.5 metric ton -> 2.5 metric tons per cubic metre.

    Going on this I have calculated a 5m x 10m x 2m = 100m3 x 2 MT per m3 = 200MT.

We're building poured foundations, poured concrete columns, beams and floors.

Anyone have any idea how many and how big our columns will need to be.

    Thanks
