This Has Been Going on for Five Months Now Ever since I Moved in with my Dad, Im Seventeen and I'm Comfortable In this House And I'm Almost Always Alone in It Which doesn't Bother me. But I've been seeing things, in the Day time ill Hear something walking up and down the hallway, and when I go to look there will be nothing there. And when I sit on the couch (I can see the hallway in the corner of my eye) I'll see someone standing not too far away from me but when I turn my head to look it will be gone. And nights here are horrible, before I go to bed I usually turn my lamp on and I'll sit there with my headphones on and listen to music for a hour. My lamp is at the end of my bed and I will sometimes see someone standing behind it, or I will see shadows move around my bed and on roof. When I finally do turn my lamp off and lay down I swear that there is someone at the end of my bed staring at me, I can see someone as clear as day. I've been having horrible nightmares every night that I haven't had in years, And once in a while ill wake up to what it feels like someone sitting at the end of my bed, when I look I can even see a indent of where the person would be sitting (my bed is a single bed, so I can notice if someone's there or not) sometimes ill even see like a shadow where the indent is.. I don't know if I'm crazy or not I just want to try to figure out what's going on so I can sleep better without freaking out that someone is watching me..

Find a clergyman who is able to banish "spirits." If you think you are crazy, I'd advise that you see a therapist.

Is anyone else in the household concerned?

I Haven't told Anyone Else about this because I Don't think that they would believe me, I did tell my Dad that I haven't been Sleeping well And that I've had Nightmares almost every Night. He's just worried its Because I Moved in with him, I told him it wasn't. I'm starting to think I'm paranoid, I have a Cross hanging on my door, One above my bed and I wear one Wherever I go. And I have a dream catcher hanging on my Window, but it doesn't help at all..

No, you're not crazy. I would however suggest that you mention this to your dad. Won't know until you try.

On a side note... the cross is not an emblem that wards off evil. It is only used in remberance of what Christ did on the cross. It will be just as ineffective as your dream catcher in keeping a spirit away. Also, the cross and the dream catcher come from vastly different spiritual beliefs... don't think that they can work together in anway.

Talk to your dad for sure. Plus you are a man and you can do one very good thing, download Hanuman Chalisa from internet and if possible picture. Read it each evening in front of picture in the evening and if you wish morning. Then meditate on Lord Hanuman, he is Lord who banish all that evil. He also the God of strength and good health and men worship him mainly. You will see the problem will banish soon than you imagine. If possible burn an oil lamp and incense sticks( those burn in Japanese temples) in front of picture.

Can you provide any proof or validation of this?

Why don't experience yourself, if you believe in demons then you should also give benefit of doubt to God.

I am 71 yrs old, and I DO believe you! I live in a house built in 1940, and it use to be a elderly nursing home. I have since renovated it, and there are still spirits here.
Sometimes, I see a white flash out of the corner of my eye, in an old kitchen (2 kitchens), and it goes away. It happens about once a month. My dog Candy, a lab, sometimes will not go into the room, and last year, went into complete histerics. I finally calmed her down by taking her outside. This had Never happened before.
My smaller dog sometimes will not go into the room, and starts barking non-stop until I calm him down.
I do believe in spirits, have seen them, and do know what you are talking about. You are NOT crazy.
Try this:
Get some Virgin Olive Oil, dip your finger in it, and make the mark of a cross over every
Outside door. Say 2 or 3 times:
By the Power of God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit, I command you to leave our home and never come back.
This worked for me for about 6 months. When the spirit, or another, came back, I did the same thing again, and it worked. I do wish you the best, and good luck.
