    Are there similarities between stroke and ms
    Hello I'm seeking closure on sum f up stuff I was diognosed with ms I suffer no further so called lessions I was put on a self injection medicine called avonex.
    For 3 yrs I stop taking it feel so so much better I'm able to work injoy the sun wake up every morning doing the things I was able to due before my diagnosis of ms went to a new nueroligist he pacificaly told me to stop taking avonex injections cause I don't have ms I sufferd from a stroke I was diognosed in 2010 now 2013 showerd my new nueroalogist original 2010 mri and he said it was stroke my concern is after 3 yrs self injecting this lab rat medicine into my mussvle my legs were the injections cause me tenderness airitation and the nurse who came to my house had told me after showing me how to self inject to put the air bubble in my musscle it didn't sound right but my dumb but just followed dr orders now I asking for help from any one I never heard of such medical wrongness done to a patient like this what do I do I went 3yrs without treatment 4 my stroke

    Yes there are similarities. But MS generally takes months or even years to diagnose because other conditions need to be ruled out first.
    I'm sorry you took Avonex for 3 years and suffered side effects. I don't know what you mean about an air bubble (which would kill you almost instantly), nor about lab-rat medicine, since it's derived from human interferon proteins. Not that I don't think any drug should be taken if not needed, and you should be angry, and I can see calling all of them lab-rat medicine.
    Talk to a law firm who specializes in medical malpractice if you want. They will know pretty quickly whether they want to take your case on contingency or not. It sounds a little iffy, but I don't know. Malpractice has to be serious error or negligence, and the doctor can claim that it really appeared to be MS to him. AND can even claim that there is no proof that you aren't slowly getting MS. But check it out.
