    Making the right decisions
Hi, its my first time doing this but I didn't know where else to go for advice.
Couldn't really decide a category since what's happening encompasses so much.

About a week ago I got pulled over and received a DUI. My family is strictly Muslim and drinking is not allowed so I had been keeping the fact that I was doing so from them. This obviously opened a can of worms and the past week has been spent arguing and fighting and crying. I'm lost now, on the one hand I have a job that I love I don't know why but I don't want to give it up for anything, but my parents hate it. Basically the problem is if I choose to keep this job and pursue the life that I want from it, my parents will kick me out and although I'm willing to fight it would be a grueling few years of working three jobs and barely scrapping by. Or I could stay listen to my parents and find some new job, a different path, they would help and support me. I guess I'm torn between logic and emotion. Stay at the job I love with the path I desire and struggle, or choose my parents path and live comfortably in a life filled with regrets. Please help.

Why do they hate your sales job?

Will they disown you if you don't follow their path? If so, is that okay with you?

Sorry for all the questions, but your answers help fill in the blanks for anyone who reads this and wants to reply.
