Im a preteen and the only one
Okay so I go to a school and I admit Im a goth/punk and that's because of the way my life goes. But no one at my school is like me or likes me as a friend. What do I do. Then my mom we don't really talk to each other. We aren't fighting and stuff we just don't mind each other. But I don't really care about that.

I don't mean to sound rude, but what would you like help with?

    Your mom, friends, both?

Did you expect the other students to fall over themselves to get to know you? It could have nothing to do with you being a goth/punk and it could have a lot to do with your preferences. When you say, "thats because of the way my life goes", what exactly are we supposed to understand from that statement?

Do you want help in finding ways to communicate with the other students? Finding things that you can share with the other students? About your Mom - you say it does not matter, but I think it does, down deep.

Its hard picking a path that others do not follow and can be very lonely -- I can understand that. But it's the path YOU picked.

Now the possible positive side-- As you get a bit older most likely a few more kids will get into goth/punk and since you went there first you might be looked up to --

Chin up kid -- your whole life is ahead. -- Savage
