I have a person who calls around the same time everyday and I'm looking for details on how to perform a reverse lookup on a phone number to identify the caller.

I just type it into Google to get any history on it. Telemarketers are starting to use cell phones now that can't be tracked as easily.

Ditto. Google it, and if it's a telemarketer, call them back, and tell them not to call you again. After that, they can't call again, it's harassment. ( Also add your phone number(s) to the DONOTCALL registry.)

The do not call registry is a joke. I am on there and have been for years. I renewed it even... I still get calls. Nobody cares. Once they have your number, they sell it and those people don't care about the do not call registry as they switch out their numbers often enough that they don't get caught.

I occasionally use a service and I am not sure if I should be listing a specific company name here, so I'll just say search for free phone tracer. The name of the company is similar to that search criteria and will come up. But as usual-it's not free!
One yr membership is 29.95. Or you can get a one time lookup for 9.95. I get my money's worth out of it because we get many erroneous calls for some reason and I like to see where they are coming from. It usually at least shows the geographic location of the caller or location of the cell account. For cell phones, an extra charge is usually requested and many times the tracer report is incomplete but they do immediately cancel the extra charge.
For land lines it works well, if it is not an unlisted number. Also works well to find a number for someone anywhere if you have a fair idea of what area they might be living in. You can search countrywide or guess at a state.
