    Employee status
I have a client who lives out of the us and works for a us tax exempt organization. He has not filed a 1040 in many years and wants to start now - he wants to record his income as salary so as not to have to pay se taxes - however the organization never reported him neither as an employee nor issued a 1099 - I assume he must use sch c but he would really prefer recording it as salary

    Thanks
