    Period started on time but very light
    Hi so earlier I was worried that my period wouldn't start. But just an hour ago I started but its really light. I did have unprotected sex twice earlier in the week but I've been taking my birth control pills when I need to. I've been on them for a month. Usually my period is heavy but right now it's super light. Could my birth control be the cause of this? I'm using trinessa. And my periods on time. So it can't be implantation bleeding, right?

    Unlikely that you're pregnant. If your period started today, it may get heavier tomorrow or the next day. The pill can lighten your period.

    If you feel you may be pregnant, wait two weeks and then test using first morning urine. Pregnancy is always a possibility, even when using 2 or more forms of birth control, but there's no way for anyone online to give you a diagnosis.
