I had sex on the 4th day of my mentration last Feb. 8th. Is it safe? I am waiting for my menstration March 7th, still don't have it. Am I pregnant?

There is no way for us to know if you're pregnant.

No. Any time you have sex, you could become pregnant. Are you having unprotected sex? Because if you are, then I assume you want to get pregnant.

But no... it's not "safe for being pregnant"... that doesn't mean that you are pregnant, it just means there is a possibility that you could be but there is no way for anyone to know that yet.

Because when I ask by obgyn I had this same senario its my 9th day unprotected sex still I had my mentration the next month.. and no sex up to 2months.. after that we do it on my 4th day when I am bleeding due to menses.. now I am a bit worry because my menses should be today still don't have for this month?

Are you trying to get pregnant? If not, why are you having unprotected sex?

You do know, I hope, that you can get pregnant during your period.

If you ask anyone who has tried to get pregnant they'll tell you that you can have a butt load of sex throughout your most fertile of times and still not get pregnant. Maybe butt load was the wrong phrase there...

There are circumstances each cycle that might or might not allow for the fertilization of egg. Maybe you didn't produce one, maybe you did but there wasn't sperm around for it, maybe it was too far in the cycle and the fertilized egg gets flushed out even though it is perfectly viable, or maybe the egg was too genetically abnormal for it to continue so it was flushed out.

The problem lies in the fact that the sperm can hang around for a while. So you might be in the middle of your period, but there is still sperm flow into your uterus. If an egg was released early, than it will be fertilized and by time it gets to your uterus, it will be ready to receive it. So it is conceivable, again another poor word choice, that you're pregnant.

There are birth control methods. The problem is that none of them are perfect or fool proof. Some are more effective, oral contraceptives and condoms together for example, and ones that aren't, like period sex, rhythm, or pulling out. Either way, if you're not prepared to be a mother, than you shouldn't be having sex.
